ABOUT MY LOGO
Firstly, the logo bears my artwork signature which represents my INDIVIDUALITY and my personality - an artist who is bold and daring, one who is willing to challenge the norms. A fearless dragon, perhaps like my name Loong?
Secondly, my signature appears to read 'Moong' abbreviated from my name M(Mun) Loong. The 'Moong' impression, which means dream in Cantonese, shares the realisation of my childhood ASPIRATION to walk this journey as an artist and being able to share my artistic gift as God has granted me. 梦想成真 indeed.
Finally the red circle - this resembles a red dot when viewed from afar. Art appreciators and collectors will commonly see this in galleries and exhibitions, where a red dot on an artwork label denotes that the piece has been sold or reserved. Hence, the red circle fits nicely with the hope that my work, by God's grace, will always gain a red dot. The importance is not so much about it being sold but rather when sold, it is an AFFIRMATION that others understand and appreciate my creative style or what I want to convey through my art.
So you see, I'm truly excited about my logo and I hope you will identify with my excitement too!
