LIFE FIGURE DRAWING

..is an essential discipline that is practice even by professional artists. The reality never lies. Drawing from life means attempting to capture the world as it really is. It is the means for studying forms, proportions, perspective, shading and all the fundamentals that go along with learning to draw or keep perfecting the skills. I personally see this as crucial for my personal ongoing development and to evolve through a sustenance of solid foundation.
PLEIN AIR ACTIVITIES

En Plein air painting/sketching is literally drawing in an outdoor environment, where the nature, e.g. lighting and weather conditions is beyond artist control and totally at the mercy of the environment. It gives a platform for rapid development of eyes, hands, mind and soul coordination capturing a scene is quick gesture. It also engages all 5 senses – sight, touch sound, smell and hear. It is simply magical albeit, a visceral experience where all these contributes to my emotional response and thus the freedom for my expression base on non-static surrounding.
